Mercer women's soccer (2-6) lost to Essex 0-8 in a game the Vikings did not manage a shot on goal.  Sophomore goalkeeper Shaunice Palms (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had 14 saves in the losing effort.  The Vikings next travel to Rowan at Burlington for a 4:00 PM game on Wednesday, September 27th.
