Mercer women's basketball (4-4) lost on the road at Essex 66-78.  The Vikings could not stop Essex's Emma Block who scored 44 points.  Sophomore Morgan Cullen (Bristol, PA/Bristol) led the Vikings with 22 points including 6 3-pointers.  Freshman Chioma Okoro (Queens, NY/Stella Maris) had her second double double of the season, scoring 10 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. Sophomore Monaee Fields (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in the loss.
