Mercer women's basketball (3-2) lost their opening game of the Mercer Mixer Thanksgiving weekend tournament to Cumbeland 66-73.  Mercer was led by 18 points apiece from sophomore Monaee Fields (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) and Heather Gurdon (Perrineville, NJ/Allentown).  Sophomore Erin Sobkowiak (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) had 8 points and 10 rebounds and sophomore Jackie Laurenti (Chesterfield, NJ/Northern Burlington) added 7 points and 5 assists in the loss.
