Mercer women's basketball moved to 2-1 on the season following a 61-36 win over rival Rowan at Burlington.  Freshman Jhava Wilson (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) led the Vikings with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 7 steals and 5 assists.  Freshman Mary Kate Madonia (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 12 points and 6 rebounds and freshman Cassie Filipowicz (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) added 11 points and 7 rebounds.  Freshman Shaunice Palms (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) pulled down 9 rebounds and had 6 points and sophomore Janine Dennis (St. Andrews, Jamaica/The Queens School) had 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the win.
