Mercer men's soccer (17-0-2) advanced to the Region 19 Championship following a 8-1 Semifinal win over Essex.  Sophomore Marco Rossi (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Sao Bernardo Do Campo) had a goal and three assists and sophomore Shiekh Bangura (Hamilton, NJ/Life Center Academy) scored two goals in the win.  Sophomores Anthony Tweh (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) and Yannick Ntone (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) each had a goal and an assist.  Freshman Humberto Blanco (Homestead, FL/South Dade) and sophomore Francesco Russo (La Romana, Dominican Republic/Colegio St. John) each added a goal and sophomores Uzo Iloka (Trenton, NJ/Nottingham), Jeff Meckel (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) and Julian Gonzalez (Miami, FL/John Ferguson) each had an assist.  The Vikings will face Rowan College at Burlington in the Region 19 Championship hosted by Mercer at 1:30 PM on October 31st.
