Mercer men's basketball (7-13) lost to Region power Essex 70-106.  Freshman Devon Adams (Philadelphia, PA/Samuel Fels) led all scorers with 24 points and freshman John Armstead (Brown Mills, NJ/BCIT-Medford) added 23 points.  Sophomore Ezren Bell (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Central) had 10 points in the loss.  The Vikings next travel to Del Tech Stanton for a 7:00 PM game on Thursday, January 21st.
