Mercer baseball moved to 17-6 following two wins over Valley Forge in a Region doubleheader.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 13-2.  Sophomore pitcher Nick Economos (Worcester, MA/Worcester Academy) moved to 2-0 on the season and struck out eight in four innings.  Sophomore Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) went 2 for 3 with 3 runs and 2 RBIs and freshman Bradon Abdul (Matawan, NJ/Old Bridge) went 2 for 2 from the plate.  Sophomores David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West), Shane Monahan (Levittown, PA/Truman) and Nick Kagel (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) and freshmen Austin Lindsay (New Egypt, NJ/New Egpyt) and Robert Boselli (Ventnor City, NJ/Holy Spirit) each had an RBI in the win.  Freshman pitcher Anthony Devito (Philadelphia, PA/Friends Central) closed out the seventh inning by striking out the side for the Vikings' win.
