Mercer baseball swept another doubleheader, beating visting Cecil, MD in both games.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 12-0 and sophomore pitcher Heath Fillmyer (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp.) struck out 8 over 5 innings while earning his second win of the season.  Freshman Brandon Kirk (Yardville, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs and sophomore Mark Tomei (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) was 3 for 4 with 2 runs and an RBI.  Freshmen CJ Rasile (Pittstown, NJ/North Hunterdon), James Rice (Middlesex, NJ/Immaculata) and David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) each had 2 hits and an RBI and freshman Shane Monahan (Levittown, PA/Truman) added 2 RBIs in the win. Fillmyer and freshmen Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbiship Wood) and Rafael Tous (Ringoes, NJ/Immaculata) each collected an RBI in the 14-hit win for the Vikings.
