Mercer baseball (1-0) won their opening game of the 2018 season 4-2 over Cumberland in nine innings.  Sophomore Cole Davis (Magnolia, DE/Milford Sr HS) struck out seven in four innings and sophomore Chris Mormile (Wildwood, NJ/Wildwood) struck out five in five innings for the win.  Sophomore Ciaran Devenney (Manalapan, NJ/St. John Vianney) went 2 for 3 with a home run, double and 2 RBI's.  Freshmen Domenic Boselli (Ventnor City, NJ/Holy Spirit) and Collin Sheehan (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) each added an RBI in the win.
