The JKC Learning Center
The Kerney Learning Center provides support for students by offering
tutoring, computer-assisted instruction, word processing assistance,
Internet access for research, workshops and study groups, and access
to the interactive television classroom. All services are free of
charge and no appointments are necessary.

Tutoring
Tutors assist both credit and noncredit students with math, science,
computers, and English. Students can expect help with homework,
writing assignments, research, and test reviews. Tutors assist
students with online classes and can direct students to online
resources. Tutors can demonstrate word processing and computer-assisted
learning programs and can assist students with those programs.

Computer-Assisted Instruction
The Center offers a wide range of computer-assisted instruction to credit students, school-age children, and adult students enrolled in training or GED programs. Computer-assisted instruction in math, reading, writing, language arts, science, social studies, geometry, and algebra is available. MCCC students may register for computer instruction in the Learning Center.

Testing
The Center provides course testing for credit students, special testing for youth and adults enrolled in campus programs, placement testing for students with limited English proficiency, college skills placement tests, and challenge tests. Tests results are now available immediately for most tests, through the test scanning system. The Testing Center is located in the Kerney Campus Building, room KC311.

How to Sign Up
If you would like to use the Kerney Learning Center, please sign up through your respective campus program or come to the Center for registration information. The Center is located on the third floor of the James Kerney Campus Building at 130 North Broad Street in Trenton.
