Telecourses

Mercer's options for distance learners include Telecourses. Students learn independently by watching video segments, reading materials, completing assignments and taking tests. Faculty and students communicate by mail, phone, email and in person by appointment.

You can access your course three ways:

  • Watch Cable Channel 26 at scheduled times (in Mercer County only)
  • Borrow videotapes from the MCCC library
  • Rent tapes from Act Media (800. 745.5480)

Warning: Distance Learning is not for everyone. Successful distance learners are self motivated and committed to investing time in their course, assignment completion and study. Distance learners should plan to attend the orientations.

HPE111 Syllabus - Please note, you will need to see your professor if you have not attended the mandatory orientation.
