"Jump Start"
Summer College for High School Students
Attend Mercer County Community College over the summer and earn college credits, enjoy our friendly atmosphere, meet new friends with similar interests, and explore new subjects and academic directions. Qualified students may enroll in one or more courses.
Individuals who have completed just one year of high school with at least a B average can start earning valuable college credits over the summer while also taking advantage of all college resources, campus facilities, tutoring services and career counseling. Students can gain valuable skills to help them succeed in their future college career.
MCCC academic advisors will help participants focus on areas of interest, select courses that can be applied toward either an associate or bachelor's degree, and "navigate" the college environment.

Eligibility
Participants must have completed at least one year of high school with at least a B average. Academic preparation may be required for some courses. Written permission from both a parent and high school guidance counselor is generally required.
