Erin Cahill to Coach New Women's
Cross Country Team at MCCC
2/4/10
West Windsor,
N.J. -- John Simone, Athletics Director at Mercer County Community
College, has announced that Erin Cahill of Robbinsville has been
named head coach for women's cross country, a new MCCC team that
is now recruiting runners for fall 2010. Cahill, an administrative
specialist in the Athletics Department since January 2009, is exceptionally
well-qualified for this coaching position, according to Simone.
"We are pleased to have someone from our own Athletics staff
with both a collegiate running and coaching background. And we are
excited about being able to offer this new opportunity to female
athletes," he said.
In
her administrative post at MCCC, Cahill addresses academic compliance
and department financials, and provides daily statistical updates
for the college's Athletics website.
